Brief Introduction to Professor Cai Wen

蔡文,研究员, 1964年毕业于中山大学,国家级有突出贡献专家,新学科可拓学创立者中国人工智能学会可拓学专业委员会荣誉主任,广东工业大学可拓学与创新方法研究所荣誉所长。

1976年选题研究处理不相容问题的理论和方法,1983年发表论文“可拓集合和不相容问题”,创立了新学科“可拓学”(原称“物元分析”)。主持完成了5项国家自然科学基金项目,参加了3项国家自然科学基金项目的研究,并完成了四项省市项目。主要专著有《可拓学》、Extenics:Theory, Method and Application《可拓集与可拓数据挖掘》、《可拓逻辑初步》、《可拓营销》(简繁体)、《可拓工程》、ExtensionEngineering Methods(中文简繁体和英文版)、《物元模型及其应用》、《物元分析》、《创意的革命》。

以蔡文为首研究的项目“可拓论及其应用”获吴文俊智能科学技术奖创新一等奖。先后被评为国家级有突出贡献专家,广东优秀中青年专家,并享受国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴。

Cai Wen, Professor, graduated from SunYat-Sen University in 1964, a national expert with outstanding contribution.He is the  honorary director of Extenics Society of Chinese Association forArtificial Intelligence and honorary director ofResearch Institute of Extenics and Innovation Methods (GuangdongUniversity of Technology).

Since 1976, he has been engaged in the study on the theories andmethods for processing incompatible problems. He published the paper of“Extension Set and Non-compatibility Problems” in 1983 founding a newdiscipline-Extenics (Originally called“Matter-element Analysis”). He has completed 5National Natural Science Foundations and 4 provincialand municipal projects as a chief, and participated 3 National Natural ScienceFoundations.His major monographs include Extenics, Extenics:Theory, Method and Application,Extension Set and Extension Data Mining,ElementaryExtensionLogic , Extension Marketing(simplified Chinese version and traditional Chinese version), Extension Engineering,ExtensionEngineering Methods(simplified Chinese version, traditional Chinese version and Englishversion), Matter-element Model and Its Application, Matter-elementAnalysis, Revolution of Innovative Idea.

Research“Extension theory and its application”leaded by Cai Wen has obtained the first prize of Wu Wenjun Intelligent Science and Technology Award. Cai wen has been successivelygranted to benational expert with outstandingcontribution and Guangdong outstanding young experts, and enjoys governmentspecial allowance awarded by the State Council.
