Mar 20th 2017,Dr. Lotto LAI was invited by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) – MI division as a guest speaker for the seminar named “Quality Innovation – Introduction of Extenics” held in Hongkong. The activity was sponsored by Hong Kong Society for Quality (HKSQ).About40 persons participated in the activity.

In his beginning, Dr. Lotto LAI briefly introduced the definition of Innovation, Innovation Tool development history and history of the Extenics. Then he introduced the extension theory, involving basic-element theories, extensible analysis, conjugate analysis, extension transformation and how to use 1-dimension (1D) dependent function as evaluation measurement.

At the end, Ir. Richard Tse (Former chairman of HKIE-MI Division) presented a souvenir toDr. Lotto LAI.

The next seminar named “Extenics: Education and Application” will be held on 28 April 2017 in CityUco, which is organized by HKSQ, SEEM Dept., CityU and International Academy of Extenics.In the seminar, Prof. Cai Wen will introduce his original science.
