In 2012, professor Luige, director of Electromechanical and Robot Laboratory of Romania Research Institute, came to Guangzhou to study and research Extenics. He signed the “International Collaboration Agreement” with professor Cai Wen, the founder of Extenics, achieving an agreement on the coorperating research of application of Extenics in Robot field (professor Luige ,Prof. Yang, Prof. Li, and Prof. Cai). After that, cooperation project, the Extended Hybrid Force-Position Control of the Robotic Systems, was used to ?apply a patent in Romania, obtained gold medal in 2014 Geneva international invention exhibition, and then obtained the gold medal of ministry of education and ministry of science in Romania.
In the project, methods and programs of contradictory problem solving in Extenics are employed to deal with contradictory between force and displacement during the run time of handling robot. Dependent function is also used for quantitative calculations. Thus, robot can be more safe and stable while carrying heavy weights.
