From August 24 to September 7, 2014, the Extenics researchers, Cai Wen, Yang Chunyan and Professor Li Xingsen were invited to give lectures in a number of universities and make academic exchange in American and reached a number of cooperation intentions.

On August 25, Researcher Cai Wen and others made academic exchange with Liu Rong and other scholars in University of California, Los Angeles. All the people had the strong expectation on the application of Extenics in solving contradictory problems in the technology field and commercial field. Later on, they visited the UC CEIN & Institute of the Environment and Sustainability. In Los Angeles, they communicated with the representatives of Zibo High-tech Zone project and the representatives of a listed company in China, Jinjing Group about the development tendency of high and new technology, and the intelligence application of Extenics in the network area, and then reached the cooperate intention of having extension innovation training camp in Zibo, Shandong.

On August 27, the Extenics researchers were invited to make academic exchange in University of New Mexico. Dr. Christopher Dyer, Executive Director, Professor Niaz Ahmed, Chief Academic Officer, Ken Van Brott, Vice President of Operations and Professor Florentin Smarandache made a thorough discussion with them. Christopher Dyer expressed his warm congratulations to Researcher Cai Wen for establishing a new subject, Extenics. He and other leaders in the university showed great interests in extension innovation method. Based on the regional advantage of New Mexico, they reached a consensus to jointly establish the International Extension Innovation Applied Research Center and cooperate to train practical innovation talents. And Professor Florentin Smarandache was designated to draw up the detailed cooperation program. During the visit, Researcher Cai Wen made the academic report--Scientific Significance and Future Development of Extenics. Professor Florentin Smarandache presided over the seminar, and there were more than 50 teachers and graduate students participating in the seminar and communicating about the relevant academic problems. Several senior professors thought Extenics is the science of solving contradictory problems. The graduate students participating in the seminar also consulted about the approach to further study Extenics in China.

On August 29, the Extenics researchers were invited to visit College of Information Science & Technology, University of Nabraska at Omaha. Researcher Cai Wen made the academic report, Extenics and Extenics-Based Innovation. Prof. Z. Chen presided over the seminar, and more than 30 teachers and students from different countries participating in the seminar. Research Yang Chunyan and Professor Li Xingsen answered the question about the innovation strategy generation etc. which the American professors were interested in and made communication with the dean of college. Prof. Yong Shi also gave some precious suggestion about the preparations of International Extenics Association, International Extenics Journal and the Second Extenics International Conference etc.

From August 30 to September 3, the Extenics researchers visited University of Pittsburgh, and was warmly welcomed by Professor Jennifer Shang in Katz Graduate School of Business. Research Cai Wen made the academic report of "Overview of Extenics" which aroused the participants' great interests. The visiting scholars from China felt proud of the Chinese original subject Extenics and made the discussion about its deep application by combining with professional field. After the seminar, the visiting scholars introduced Extenics to local entrepreneurs. The president in the network information technology company and the principal in Chinese culture training school invited the Extenics researchers to introduce Extenics, discuss about its application together, and communicate about the idea and data preparation of having Extenics training in America.

From August 31 to September 1, the Extenics researchers and Ni Mingfang, a visiting scholar in University of Pittsburgh, visited Slippery Rock University and discussed with Professor Jeffrey Forrest to jointly prepare the International Extenics Journal and the Second Extenics International Conference etc. Professor Jeffrey Forrest thought that under the new academic environment, Extenics would have great development prospect. He illustrated some science construction mode in the age of Newton, analyzed the problems existing in the fields such as mathematical limit etc. and showed great interests in the model of solving contradiction problems by integration of Chinese and western in Extenics. And he thought the extension thinking method is in urgent need to be deeply developed, promoted and applied.

From September 3 to 4, the Extenics researchers visited George Washington University and Library of Congress, United States. There are five Extenics works (Chinese version and English version) published by China Science Press and American Education Press in Library of Congress. The librarian assisted to inquire their borrowing situation, introduced some academic exchange lectures, and expected that the Extenics researchers could give Extenics lectures in the library in the future.

Through the series of exchange, the American scholars had a deeper understanding about Extenics. After coming back in China on September 7, the researchers have begun to make preparations for the cooperation plans. The distinctive research object and the research method integrated Chinese and Western of Extenics are of great importance to go out the country and enter into the world science hall.
