In his theme report of “Digital Design and Extension Design Key Technology” made at the 13th National Extension Annual Meeting (August 24, 2011), Professor Tan Jianrong of Zhejiang University and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering vividly demonstrates the applications of Extenics in manufacturing upgrade, green manufacturing and energy saving and emission reduction as well as its promising prospect.
The achievements management office of Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology pointed out that, in the “The Extension Theory and Its Applications”, the project is an original innovation, and plays the leading and guiding role in the study of its kind in both at home and abroad.
Xiangshan Science Conference held by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Science, Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Committee of National Natural Science Fund, etc. pointed out that, in “The Science Significance and Future Development of Extenics”, a cross discipline aiming to solve contradiction problems has been established, its application effects don’t lie in finding new experiment facts, but providing a new idea and method for various disciplines and engineering technology fields.
Chinese Association of Science and Technology published the research achievements of Extenics to Discipline Development Report in 2008 and 2010.
