Human  society is being in progress during the process of solving various  contradictory problems and sustainable exploration and innovation. Utilizing  computer and the Internet to solve contradictory problems and carry out  exploration and innovation is still an ideal for mankind. But, Extenics, as the  basic theory, method and tool to realize this ideal, is a newly emerging  discipline, which uses formalized models to explore the possibility of  extension and transformation of things and solve contradictory problems.

Extenics  was founded in 1983. Over the past three decades, researchers have established  a relatively complete theoretical framework named as extension theory, proposed  extension innovation methods, and finally applied them to many different  fields, including information, design, control, automation, management, etc.  which forms extension engineering. Extension theory, extension innovation  methods and extension engineering together constitute a new discipline named as  Extenics. It has been highly appraised and recognized by many well-established,  famous scientists of China, widely disseminated in China, and attracted successfully considerable attention of many scholars  from different countries and regions, such as the U.S.A., Germany, Japan,  France, Holland, India, Romania, Korea. Innovation  is a cognitive and practical ability, which is peculiar to mankind and the soul  of a nation’s progress. Practical activities in engineering and management  require constant exploration and innovation, which has spawned many innovation  theories and methods, such as TRIZ, Extension Innovation Methods. Scholars from  different countries and regions have already made a great number of  achievements in theory, method and their application.

 

We  cordially welcome researchers of universities, research institutes and  representatives of business enterprises from all over the world to participate  in such an important academic activity.

4.  Interdisciplinary Research among Extenics and other subjects or specific fields,  including information, design, control, automation, management, and economics, etc.

Publication: All accepted papers will be published by CRC Press, one of the leading  science and technology publishers in the world, in the series book entitled Communications  in Cybernetics, Systems Science and Engineering. Meanwhile, the CRC Press will  submit the proceedings volume to all major scientific databases, including EI  index and ISTP. Besides, organization committee of this conference will  recommend some selected papers to SCIE source journals, such as KYBERNETES. We  kindly invite experts, scholars, professors, and business practitioners to  submit your papers and attend this important conference.

Paper  requirements: The official languages for conference presentation are  both Chinese and English. All papers need to be written in English, original  and unpublished.
